Is the free plan actually usable, or just a demo?

Usable. You get 30 minutes of transcription and 50,000 tokens every month — about a lecture a week, plus the notes and cards that come out of it. Hit the ceiling and you wait for the monthly reset, or upgrade. No card either way.

Will it keep up with a fast or heavily-accented professor?

Usually. In a normal lecture hall the transcript runs a second or two behind speech. Strong accents are the harder case — that’s exactly why there are four speech engines to switch between, and any line can be fixed by hand afterwards.

What happens to my recordings and notes?

They stay in your account, private by default. Sharing a note creates an unlisted snapshot at its own URL — only people with the link can open it. You can export everything or delete the account whenever you want.

Can I export to Anki, Notion or Word?

Yes, properly: Anki gets a standard .apkg with six card types, Markdown pastes straight into Notion, standalone HTML opens in Word, and PDF covers printing. Your notes travel with you.

Why not just use ChatGPT?

The answers here come from your own recording, slides and notes, with the minute mark attached — context a general chatbot simply works without. And when something isn’t in your materials, it says so. Nothing invented.

Can my professor see my notes?
